SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Sioux Falls Stampede announced their 2022-23 pre-season schedule today.  It features five games throughout the second and third weeks of September. Opponents include the Fargo Force, Omaha Lancers, Sioux City Musketeers, and the Wenatchee Wild of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). The Herd will host two home games at the SCHEELS IcePlex, September 7th versus Fargo and September 16th against Wenatchee.

The Stampede kick off their pre-season at home at the IcePlex on Wednesday, September 7th where they host the Fargo Force at 6 PM.  They will then head on the road to Sioux City the following day where they will face the Omaha Lancers at 1 PM. The Herd will close out the weekend on September 10th when they square off against the Musketeers at 7 PM.

The Herd will be back at the IcePlex on Friday, September 16th to host the Wenatchee Wild of the BCHL 7 PM in a scrimmage. This is the first time the Stampede will face off against a BCHL team in the pre-season. Sioux Falls closes out their pre-season tilts with a final scrimmage against the Fargo Force in Fargo at 7 PM on Saturday, September 17th.

Tickets for the two home games at the IcePlex will be $10 each, with free admission to season ticket members.

The Stampede's regular season kicks off in Pittsburgh for the Fall Classic on Thursday, September 22nd against the Muskegon Lumberjacks and Friday the 23rd against the Cedar Rapids Roughriders. The home opener at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is scheduled for October 15th, where the Herd will host the Fargo Force at 6:05 PM.
