Sioux Falls is South Dakota's largest city with a population of 289,592 metro residents. The city was built on the cascades of the Big Sioux River, which flows through the heart of Sioux Falls.

The city continues to grow in both population and corporate business growth. Sioux Falls has regularly been mentioned as one of America's fastest growing cities and best cities to raise a family.

Activities

The downtown area of Sioux Falls boasts great character and quaint shops. One of the city's main attractions is Falls Park, a beautiful waterfall over granite rock on the Big Sioux River which runs right through the city.

On the West side of town, the Empire Mall is still a favorite of many shoppers. More people visit the Empire Mall annually than Mount Rushmore!

On the other side of town, Great Bear Ski Valley and numerous parks are dispersed. just a quick drive down Interstate-90 takes you to Brandon, S.D. and Minnesota.

The Sioux Falls area also has an abundance of restaurants and entertainment! Some team favorites are Josiah's, Bagel Boy, and the Phillips Avenue Diner.

Sioux Falls offers a variety of education resources to players who may continue their high school career or wish to pursue higher education.

Players are offered the choice of two high schools close to the arena and practice facilities:

Sioux Falls Regional Airport and Joe Foss Field service the Sioux Falls and surrounding areas year round.

Daily flights to and from major hubs such as Minneapolis-St. Paul, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix and Dallas-Fort Worth allow those visiting, or staying a while, the ability to not have to drive far to hop on a plane and go anywhere!
