The pride the community takes in the team and organization, you can really feel it as a player and it gives you something to play for every night.
Josh Passolt, former Stampede Captain | 2015-2017

Tradition

The Sioux Falls Stampede was established in 1999. The organization has set out to achieve excellence in on- and off-ice performance since its inception. Our commitment is well reflected in our history and achievements. We have qualified for the Clark Cup Playoffs in 16 of our 25 seasons. We encourage all prospective and current players to continue down our path and perform to their highest abilities.

Character

We believe that character champions success. When playing as a part of “The Herd," all players are treated in a professional manner, complimented with first-class amenities, coaching and development provided by the team, staff and organization. Therefore, we expect Stampede players to conduct themselves in a respectful manner both on and off the ice.

Pride

Stampede hockey fans are the greatest in the United States Hockey League and we all take pride in this organization, regularly turning out in USHL record-breaking numbers to cheer on the Herd.

As a member of the Stampede, you will take part in one of the greatest experiences in your life. We are collectively known as Stampede Country and our fans will always bleed blue, scream loud and ring their cowbells.

We all proudly wear the blue and gold.
