SIOUX FALLS, S.D.— The Sioux Falls Stampede announced its 2023-24 Preseason Schedule on Wednesday. The lineup consists of five preseason matchups against USHL Western Conference opponents.
Kicking off the exhibition schedule, the Herd will head to Omaha, Neb. for the Lancer Bowl where they will take on the Tri-City Storm and Des Moines Buccaneers on September 8
th and 9
th, respectively. Friday's game will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Saturday's beginning at noon.
The Herd will then take a mid-week trip to Fargo, N.D. to take on the Fargo Force at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13
th.
Friday, September 15
th will be the first opportunity for Stampede fans to see their home team take the ice at the Scheels Ice Plex. The Herd will host the Sioux City Musketeers for a special afternoon game at 2:30 p.m. to accommodate Sioux City's schedule the following day. The following day, the Stampede host the Fargo Force for the final matchup of the preseason at 6:05 p.m. at the Scheels Ice Plex.
Tickets for the Stampede's preseason games at the Scheels IcePlex are available the day of the game and are $10 each. Season ticket members will be given free admission to these preseason matchups.
Stampede players report to camp this weekend and the club will begin its regular season at the USHL Fall Classic on September 20
th and 21
st in Cranberry Township, Penn. at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. The Stampede take on the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Wednesday, followed by the Tri-City Storm on Thursday. Tickets for the Fall Classic are available now on the USHL website. Presale ends on Sept. 17 and remaining tickets will be available at the door.
Stampede fans will be able to catch their first regular season game at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on Oct. 7 at 6:05 p.m. against the Waterloo Black Hawks. Single-game tickets for all Stampede games will go on sale September 11
