SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Sioux Falls Stampede announced today that the team has acquired forward Aiden Janz from the Lincoln Stars in exchange for forward
Nick Snyder.
The left-handed forward has over 100 games of USHL experience dating back to the 2023–24 season. The Northville, Mich., native has spent the past three seasons on the Lincoln Stars roster after beginning the 2023–24 season with the Lincoln Stars 16U AAA team, where he appeared in 23 games. So far this season, Janz has recorded 11 points in 33 games, including a multi-point performance on October 24. Janz will wear No. 11 with the Stampede.
In exchange, the Stampede sent forward Nicholas Snyder to the Lincoln Stars. The University of Vermont commit recorded three points in 32 games with the Stampede this season. Sioux Falls also sent a 2026 USHL Phase I fourth-round pick and a 2026 Phase II fourth-round pick.
Janz and the Stampede will hit the road to Waterloo this weekend for two games, both scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Fans can stop by either Buffalo Wild Wings location on Friday night to watch the Herd take on the Black Hawks. Both games this weekend will be available on FloHockey or KELO Radio.
