SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Sioux Falls Stampede have acquired 2007-born forward Jake Stuart from the Muskegon Lumberjacks at the United States Hockey League trade deadline.
The Stampede received Jake Stuart and future consideration in exchange for defenseman
Dane Sorensen and a 2026 Phase II 1st round pick and a 2027 Phase II 3rd round pick.
The Manhattan Beach, CA, native has skated in 47 games with the Lumberjacks this season, netting 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists). Prior to his time in Muskegon, Stuart spent two seasons at the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. In 2023, the University of Denver commit won the USA Hockey Youth Tier-I 15U National Championship with the Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
Stuart will wear no. 6 with the Herd and be available to play this Thursday when the Stampede take on the Lincoln Stars.
