Brandon Wildung

Brandon Wildung, a native of Nassau, MN, played collegiately at Mercyhurst University (NCAA Division I).  Wildung also played professional hockey in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) before retiring. Before joining the Stampede, he started his coaching career with the Sioux Falls Power.  Wildung also coached this past season with the Augustana Vikings NCAA D1 program in Sioux Falls as an Assistant Coach and Goalie Coach before returning to the Stampede again.  He also trains players from the National Hockey League and collegiate levels during the summer months. Wildung is in his fourth season with the Stampede.

While at Mercyhurst, Wildung, a four-year starter, recorded 3,037 saves, 6 shutouts, and 5 assists in 103 games. He was named to the All AHC Tournament Team, 2-time Team MVP, and Mercyhurst Scholar Athlete of the Year. He completed his college career with a 2.88 GAA/.916 SAV and 4th all-time in Atlantic Hockey history with 50 wins.
