Randy is the arena voice of the Stampede. He started as a backup announcer for the team in 2012 and became the Herd's lead announcer in 2015.

Randy's announcing experience includes multiple years with Sioux Falls Youth Hockey as well as the Sioux Falls Canaries. He takes pride in being an integral part of the game day experience for Stampede Country for over 30 nights a year.

Randy grew up on a farm near Battle Creek, Iowa and is an alumnus of Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa. He has been married for 40 years to his wife Nancy and they have two adult children, Kayla and Trevor. He enjoys cooking, hockey, baseball and auto racing.
