Stampede Host Epic Home Slate

Including the Inaugural Corgi Races, Teddy Bear Toss, and Peanuts: A Christmas Celebration

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Sioux Falls Stampede are set to return to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in epic fashion with a three-game home slate. The team kicks things off on Wednesday night against the Fargo Force for the Inaugural Sioux Falls Corgi Races. They return on Friday for Teddy Bear Toss Night and wrap up the weekend on Saturday with a kickoff-to-Christmas game featuring a Peanuts twist. Details for all three games are below.

Wednesday, November 26 – Sioux Falls Corgi Races presented by Tito's Vodka

Pregame:
Happy Hour: Stop by the Coors Light Cold Zone in Section 116 for $5 16 oz. draft Coors Light from 5:00 p.m. to puck drop.
Specialty Drink: Visit the bar in Section 110 for Stomp's Tito's Lemonade served in a special shaker cup.
Pet Food and Enrichment Drive: Fans are encouraged to help support the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society by bringing pet food or enrichment items to the game. Donors will receive a BOGO ticket voucher valid for any December game. Requested enrichment items include:
  • Lick mats
  • Black large Kongs
  • Wet pâté dog food
  • Non-stick spray
  • Wax paper
  • Can openers
  • Dry dog food topper shakers
Mr. Twister: Find Mr. Twister in Section 101 creating balloon art all night long!
Photo Booth: Capture the night by stopping at our photo booth in Section 119.
Jersey Debut: The Stampede will debut their Frostbite alternate jerseys. The team will wear them at select games throughout the remainder of the season, and the jerseys will be raffled off on April 4.

The Main Event:
First Intermission:
The Stampede will host their first-ever Corgi Races! Thirty dogs will compete in three heats, with the top two from each heat advancing to the final round.
Second Intermission: The final six corgis will race from the goal line to the opposing blue line to crown the first-ever Sioux Falls Corgi Races Champion.
Stampede App: Fans are encouraged to download the Stampede app to participate in in-game activations such as Dave & Buster's Herd First, Diamond of the Game presented by The Diamond Room, and special Corgi voting.

Friday, November 28 – Teddy Bear Toss presented by Jersey Mike's

Photo Booth:
Visit our photo booth in Section 119 to capture the night's memories.
Teddy Bear Toss: Fans are invited to bring new stuffed animals to throw on the ice when the Stampede score their first goal. Fans may write their name and phone number on the tag of their stuffed animals for a chance to win a prize.

Saturday, November 29 – Peanuts: A Christmas Special presented by The Salvation Army

Sock Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans will receive a pair of Stampede holiday socks, courtesy of The Salvation Army of Sioux Falls.
Jersey Auction: The Stampede will wear special Peanuts winter jerseys, available via auction on DASH. Bidding closes at 7:45 p.m.
Ugly Sweater Contest: Fans are encouraged to wear their ugliest Christmas attire and enter the Stampede's Ugly Sweater Contest by commenting on the designated Facebook post or tagging the team on social media. Three adults and three kids will be selected to participate in the live finale during the second intermission.
Mr. Twister: Mr. Twister will be back in Section 101 creating balloon masterpieces.
Photo Booth: Stop by our photo booth in Section 119 to capture your holiday photos.
Stampede App: Fans are encouraged to download the Stampede app to participate in in-game activations including Dave & Buster's Herd First, Diamond of the Game presented by The Diamond Room, and Fan Photos presented by Big Poppa's Pizza.

Following the weekend slate, the Stampede will host the Des Moines Buccaneers at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2. They will also host the Lincoln Stars on Tuesday, December 9, and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Saturday, December 13, to round out the schedule before the USHL holiday break.
