Sioux Falls will then host the Green Bay Gamblers at home on February 5th and 7th.
The Stampede has a strong track record at the Fall Classic in recent years. Last year, the team earned a remarkable weekend sweep, demonstrating their early-season prowess. They decisively defeated the USA Hockey NTDP U18s with a 6–3 victory. This was followed by a thrilling 4–3 comeback overtime win against the Muskegon Lumberjacks, highlighting the team's resilience and determination.
Looking back, Sioux Falls has consistently performed well at the Fall Classic. Beyond last year's sweep, the team secured three points to start the 2023–24 season, indicating a pattern of strong starts. Before that, the Stampede consistently recorded splits in four consecutive Fall Classics.
