SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Sioux Falls Stampede general manager
Tony Gasparini and head coach
Ryan Cruthers announced today that the team has signed forward Dylan Delgado to a tender agreement for the 2026-27 season.
A native of Weston, Florida, Dylan Delgado spent the 2025-26 season with the Honeybaked 15U AAA program in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He recorded 115 points from 56 goals and 59 assists in 82 games of 15U AAA play, while adding 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points over 21 games in the MAHA 15U league.
"I am really pumped to join the Sioux Falls Stampede," said Delgado. "This is an amazing opportunity, and I cannot wait to work hard and push myself to the highest level all season long."
During the 2024-25 season, the 5-foot-10, 161-pound left-shot forward totaled 127 points in 70 games with Honeybaked's 14U AAA team in 14U AAA league play, including a team-leading 63 goals. Delgado also contributed 17 goals and 17 assists for 34 points with the MAHA 14U team.
"We are extremely excited to sign Dylan. We believe his game is a perfect fit for our style of play here in Sioux Falls," said Gasparini. "Dylan is a highly skilled offensive player who plays with speed and has a strong competitive edge."
"Dylan has the IQ and playmaking ability we love to work with in Sioux Falls," added Cruthers. "His offensive instincts and competitiveness fit our team identity. We look forward to developing his game and helping prepare him for the next level."
Each season, the United States Hockey League (USHL) allows each team to tender up to two players eligible for the 2026 Phase I Draft in May, which includes 2010 birth-year players. By signing Delgado, the Stampede have forfeited their first-round selection in the upcoming draft.
Delgado becomes the fourth player in franchise history to sign a tender agreement, joining defenseman
Matthew Grimes (2023) and forwards Cam MacDonald (2019) and Jaxon Nelson (2016).Â
