SIOUX FALLS, S.D.— The Sioux Falls Stampede added another loss to the Team USA NTDP's losing streak, winning 7-4 on Thursday night. The NTDP was able to answer back with three of its own goals, closing the period out 1-3 in favor of Team USA. The Herd's Noah Eyre had a one-on-one opportunity during a penalty shot, but was unable to increase the Herd's side of the scoreboard.
The second period was all Stampede as the Herd would score four goals during the period. Artur Cholach tabbed his second USHL goal 4:35 into the frame. Tyler Borgula went on to tie the game up just over one minute later. Will McDonough, with a little help from McNelis and Micah Berger, added the Herd's final goal of the game, on the powerplay. USA was able to nab one final goal with under a minute to play in the game, but it was too late to change the course.
