Sioux Falls, S.D. – This Saturday marks the 19th Annual Sioux Nation Pet Clinic Wiener Dog Races, and the Fighting Wiener Dogs are rolling into the biggest weekend of the season red-hot.

The Herd sits atop the Western Conference playoff standings, riding a six-game winning streak and holding a six-point cushion over the Fargo Force. Last weekend, Sioux Falls poured in 22 goals across three games to keep the momentum rolling.

After hitting the road to Ralston on Friday night, the Wiener Dogs return home for the main event of the weekend against the Des Moines Buccaneers. The teams last met on January 2 in Des Moines, where the Stampede claimed a 5–4 overtime win in a wild, back-and-forth contest.

That finish didn't come without controversy. The game-winning goal sparked debate over a potential offside, and emotions boiled over as the Des Moines bench was assessed a misconduct following the decision. Since then, the matchup has carried a clear rivalry edge—setting the stage for a must-watch showdown on Saturday.
 

There TON of fun planned for Wiener Dog Night so here's what you need to know:  

Doors: Open at 4:30 PM
Parking: FREE, but with other events going on tonight and this being the biggest game of the season, please plan ahead and give yourself some extra time. 
Tickets: A limited number of tickets are still available. Purchase yours by calling the Stampede office at (605) 275 - 4625 or clicking here. 

The Stampede office, located at 1111 N. Lake Ave is open 9 am - 5 pm  Thursday and Friday and 11 am - 3 pm on Saturday. 

Rally Towels: Thanks to Sioux Nation Pet Clinic, Prairie Farms Dairy, and Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital, everyone in the lower-level on Saturday will get a commemorative light up Wiener Dogs Rally Towel!
Jersey Auction: The Wiener Dogs will wear specialty jerseys Fighting Wiener Dog jerseys. Fans can bid on the jerseys HERE. Bidding will close at 5:30 PM on Sunday. 
Sioux Falls Fighting Wiener Dogs App: Download the app before Saturday's game to participate in Dogs First, Diamond of the Game, Fan Choice - Pick the Karaoke Cam Song, Pick the Winner - vote for which dog you think is taking the crown, and Fan Photos! 

Pre-game:  

DOGS, DOGS, DOGS: Check out some lovable, adoptable dogs from Dakota Dachshund Rescue outside Sections 109 and 119! 
Merchandise: Get your official Wiener Dog merchandise at the Wiener Dog Hockey Shop outside Section 103 as well as our additional stand outside Section 115. A limited selection stand will also be open in section 210. 
Wiener Dog Photo booth: A special Titio's Vodka for Dog People Photo Booth is available outside section 117.  

Mr. Twister with FREE balloon animals for kids outside section 104!
Face-painting will be available for FREE outside section 105.
Support the Fighting Wiener Dogs by making a sign to cheer on the Dogs outside section 101. 
Purchases your chuck-a-pucks in section 102 or 118 for a chance to win one of the 18 prizes worth during the second intermission. Proceeds are benefiting Dakota Dachshund Rescue!

Wiener Dog Parade: Be in your seats by 5:40 PM as all the racers will be on the ice so you can meet them before the big race!

The Show: 

First Intermission: 50+ dogs on the ice to compete to be champion! Two heats of 25 (or more) dogs will take place on the ice right after the first intermission…you don't want to miss this! The top two dogs from each heat will advance to the Final Four championship race during the second intermission!  
Second Intermission:
    Championship Race: We are down to four, but only one will be crowned champion! Stay in your seats after the race for a special awards ceremony.
    Chuck-A-Puck: After the trophy ceremony, fans who bought Chuck-A-Pucks, either at the top of the stairs in the main lobby or outside section 118, can throw them on the ice for the chance to win a variety of 20+ prizes.

The Stampede take on Fargo Force in a special Sunday matinee.
