The newest member of the Herd will wear No. 16 and is expected to make his Stampede debut tonight.

In exchange, the Stampede have sent 2008-born forward Cade Strom to the Chicago Steel. Strom played in 20 games for the Herd this season, recording seven points (one goal, six assists).

Öhman and the Stampede return to home ice tonight at 7:05 p.m. as they take on the Green Bay Gamblers.
