Day 3 of Main Camp featured the final round of regular-season games before the All-Star rounds. Four competitive matchups highlighted the day, including another overtime thriller and several standout individual performances. With the regular games now complete, players will turn their attention to the All-Star games at the Scheels IcePlex.
Game 1 – Ruhwedel vs. O'Connor
To kick off the final round of regular games, Team Ruhwedel defeated Team O'Connor 3-1.
Jaeger Johannes opened the scoring for Team Ruhwedel with assists from Hudson DeMore and Ben Stattelman. Team Ruhwedel added a second goal before the end of the first period when Matthew Portz found the back of the net with assists from Beau Raschke and Will Soffer.
In the second period, Maddox Boyle scored the lone goal for Team O'Connor, assisted by Max Campbell. Matthew Portz added his second goal of the game later in the period to secure the victory for Team Ruhwedel, with assists going to Tucker Lovejoy and Sawyer Sheffield.
Game 2 – Sillinger vs. Joshua
Team Joshua extended its winning streak to three games with a 3-2 overtime victory over Team Sillinger.
Evan Ferraro opened the scoring for Team Joshua with an assist from James Reilly. Sam Horstman added Team Joshua's second goal with Jackson Luedke earning the assist.
Team Sillinger battled back in the second period, beginning with a goal from Tripp Wrobleski. Ethan Travis and Ryan Murray were credited with the assists. Liam McMurray then tied the game for Team Sillinger with assists from Jordan Stange and Nolan Beauchain.
With regulation unable to determine a winner, the game headed to overtime. Evan Ferraro played the hero, scoring his second goal of the game with assists from Van Martin and James Reilly to give Team Joshua the 3-2 victory.
Game 3 – Goligoski vs. Lindgren
Game 3 featured plenty of offense as Team Goligoski earned a 5-4 victory over Team Lindgren.
William-Alexis Tremblay opened the scoring with an unassisted goal for Team Goligoski. Kole Krawitz followed with a goal assisted by Xavier Cardinal and Robert McGinn.
Team Lindgren responded with back-to-back goals from Nicholas Baranivsky. Kaedyn Kopp and Kellen DePola assisted on the first goal, while Jamie Calla and Kellen DePola earned assists on the second.
Before the first period came to a close, Porter Bayer restored the lead for Team Goligoski.
In the second period, Bristol Steffe tied the game for Team Lindgren with assists from Kaedyn Kopp and Richard Grace. Team Goligoski answered with goals from Shiva Singh and Oliver Labatt, with Robert McGinn and Porter Bayer assisting on Labatt's tally, helping secure the 5-4 win.
Game 4 – Swayman vs. Redmond
The final regular-season game of camp saw Team Redmond defeat Team Swayman 6-2.
James Buchan struck first for Team Redmond with assists from Weiran Gao and Brady Logue. Sean Foster added another before the end of the first period with an unassisted goal.
Team Redmond continued to roll in the second period, beginning with a goal from Daniil Mikhlin, assisted by Sean Foster and Bo Skelton. Brady Logue then scored unassisted to make it 4-0 before Jack Mazzella added Team Redmond's fifth goal.
Max Gjovik got Team Swayman on the board with assists from JT Borland and Adam Benassaya. Colten Worthington answered for Team Redmond with an assist from Chase Logue before Matthew Wallace closed the scoring for Team Swayman. Gjovik and Dylan Hughes earned assists on Wallace's goal.
With the conclusion of the regular games, attention now turns to the All-Star Games. Game 1 will begin at 5:30 p.m. and Game 2 will begin at 7:00 p.m., both at the Scheels IcePlex.
