SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Stampede have announced their promotional schedule for the 2022-23 season. The calendar includes at least one big promotion each month and 16 total with others to be added in early October. The fun begins during the home opener on Saturday, October 15th when the Stampede host Fargo at 6:05 PM. The first 1,000 kids 12-and-under will receive a FREE Stampede replica jersey, compliments of First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard. Doors will open at 5 PM with all kinds of fun for the entire family including Mr. Twister, face painting, and a post-game skating party with the players right after the game.
Pink in the Rink returns to the PREMIER Center on Friday, November 4th when the Herd host I-29 rival Sioux City at 7:05 PM, presented by Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital. Once again, the game will be played on pink ice and players will wear specialty jerseys.
In December, the Stampede will host a Teddy Bear Toss on December 9th, presented by Jersey Mike's, and the popular Ugly Sweater Night, presented by The Salvation Army will take place on Saturday, December 17th. The club will sport Ugly holiday sweaters and the entire game will have a holiday theme to it. The Stampede close out the month with the return of a New Year's Eve game against Eastern Conference foe, the Madison Capitols at 6:05 PM.
After a successful debut last season, Wizards Night is back on January 6th and Hockey Day South Dakota will take place on Saturday, January 14th, presented by The Hockey Headquarters. The day will feature several youth and high school games at the PREMIER Center prior to the Herd's 6:05 PM face-off against Omaha.
The world-famous 16th annual Sioux Nation Pet Clinic Wiener Dog Races are slated for Saturday, February 4th when the club transforms into the Fighting Wiener Dogs with specialty jerseys and, of course, the races in between periods. Puck drop is set for 6:05 PM.
Stomp's Birthday Bash with Dental Solutions is back for another season on March 11th as we pay tribute to the most famous mascot around with special photo opportunities with Stomp himself, face-painting, and more fun for the entire family.
The final month of the regular season is April and features Dental Solutions Star Wars Night on April 15th. Specialty Star Wars jerseys will be worn by the team and the entire game will be Star Wars themed. The regular season concludes April 22nd when the Stampede host Fargo at 6:05 PM for Take My Jersey Night, presented by First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard. Fans will have the chance to take home the Stampede's third-jersey through a jersey raffle during the game.
